SortSend ("we") is a Google Sheets add-on operated by Faizi Siraj, Hyderabad, India. Contact: support@getsortsend.com.

1. The short version

2. What SortSend accesses, and why

Google dataWhat SortSend does with it
GmailReads the draft you choose as the email template; sends emails from your account to the people in your sheet; searches your mailbox for replies, bounces and out-of-office messages to campaigns you sent; creates and applies labels starting with SortSend/. If you turn on the Inbox Logger, it records the sender, subject, date and a short text preview of incoming emails into a tab of your spreadsheet. If you turn on Notifications, it copies fields from emails matching searches you set up, and saves their attachments to a Drive folder.
Google SheetsReads your recipient list and writes each person's status (sent, replied, bounced, unsubscribed). Creates and reads your opt-out (suppression) list spreadsheet.
Google FormsCreates your unsubscribe form and records answers into your spreadsheet.
Google DriveCreates the opt-out list, the unsubscribe form and attachment folders in your Drive, and sets the form so recipients can open it without signing in.
Sending quota and summariesReads how many more emails Google allows you to send today, to show it to you; emails you (only you) a summary when a daily drip batch finishes or stops.
Your email addressTo tell free Gmail and Google Workspace accounts apart (their daily limits differ).

SortSend only does these things when you use the matching feature: you press Send, schedule a campaign, start a drip, turn on follow-ups, the reply check, the Inbox Logger or Notifications.

3. Where your data is stored

4. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone. Data leaves your account only when you send an email (to the recipients you chose) or when a recipient answers your unsubscribe form. Google processes all of it as the provider of Google Workspace; see Google's own privacy policy.

5. Google API Services: Limited Use

SortSend's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In particular: we use Google user data only to provide the SortSend features you see in the add-on; we do not use it for advertising; we do not transfer it except as described above; and no person at SortSend reads your data unless you ask us to for support and give your consent, or the law requires it.

6. Recipients of your emails

If you received an email sent with SortSend, the sender, not us, controls your data. Use the Unsubscribe link in the email to stop further emails from that sender; your address is then added to that sender's opt-out list.

7. Keeping and deleting your data

8. Security

SortSend runs entirely on Google's infrastructure under your Google sign-in. It requests only the permissions listed above.

9. Children

SortSend is not intended for children under 16.

10. Changes

We will post any change here and update the date above. Material changes will also be shown in the add-on.
